PipLens app for iPhone and iPad

PipLens is a social network with a twist. Our app is a free-to-download person-to-person service created to connect the creatives, the knowledgeable, the skilled and the experts with the individuals they inspire, giving users direct & exclusive access to information, in real-time. We provide our users with the tools to monetise their free time by sharing advice & knowledge for practically anything. Whether it be discussing how to make a living from a passion, sharing tips and hacks for their industry, or just any helpful information to assist someone in need. Users connect by booking each other through a video call for discussions. The discussions come in two forms; ‘Open’ which other users can view & ‘Private’ which is solely between the users participating and can be charged a fee by the user that has been booked.

How does it work?

Users connect through a live video chat. The discussions are in two forms; ‘Open’ which other users can view, & ‘Private’ which is solely between the users participating and can be charged a fee by the user that has been booked. Our live chat feature can also be used for collaborations, for instance, with musicians or students working on a project.

How payments work

PipLens uses Stripe payments service as our payment provider for all money transactions made on our platform. The way payments work on our app is as followed; when a user wishes to book a live video call to connect with another user they are charged a fee for the live video call that is private (person-to-person) The fee is charged from the payment method that was provided, at the end of the booking payments are then released to the user who was booked.

We have a no-refund policy for users who cancel a booking which they have paid for if they do not cancel the booking within one hour of the booking’s start time.
